Keepin' Busy!

we have been trying to keep busy this spring so far since school is done until fall... we have done a lot so I am summing up the week in photos... we went bowling for the kids bowl free program (SUCH a fan!), we went out for ice cream and lunch at Pennings Farm Market,  Chuck E Cheese with our coupons and birthday tokens, Ritas with my "half-birthday" coupon since they arent open on my birthday... and my sister got a new bunny so we went to meet her. PLus playing on the new swingset :) More fun to come next week!

Mother's Day

to sum up my mother's day in pictures.... I never blogged about it! We took my mother in law and family out to red lobster on saturday and the kids love shrimp! aaand checking out the lobsters in the waiting area :)
Sunday we did our traditional Mothers Day brunch at MT Haven in PA. I love love love this tradition (which is funny for someone who is not really the biggest breakfast fan) but we always take great photos there and have a good time. Traditions are wonderful :) OF Course, halfway through our time there my camera battery died... I was planning on taking pics like we did last year.... it happens... s pwhen we got home, I charged up my camera and toted my tripod around the farm and got a few pics for myself. The kids (and Jim) got me a cute little necklace that is silver with a little flower with a diamond chip in it. Maris was sooo excited to give it to me.

Fantastic Friday

 The weather FINALLY has turned for the better! We ran our Friday errands in the morning, had lunch at Panera, then tried a short lived shopping attempt for myself to get some clothes.... ended up finding a Beatles shirt I don't own and got it for 7 bucks... they started getting restless and I gave up.. then we stopped by toys r us to use up the last gift card. He decided on a hot wheels track builder set. We hooked it up outside and they loved it!

While outside, we encountered a little green worm in the kitchen playset. The kids named him Inchie and relentlessly shoved leaves at him and made him a plate of greens to eat :) I finally got them to come inside so I can make dinner before I have to leave for work. They are working on Mother's Day cards... I'm excited for that day! We are having our traditional brunch at one of my favorite places... Mt Haven. Then going to take my MIL out for lunch. Lots of food will be eaten that day... haha PLUS I have to work that night... super bummer but my day will be good. All errands run, dinner started, kids happy...What a lovely Friday!
