After the funeral, the firehouse was kind enough to take the kids down to see the trucks and sit in them and pretend to drive them. The fireman showed them how heavy the equipment is and where everything goes... they were so pumped about it! It was a nice distraction from the sadness of the day.
We have a busy weekend of work and fun for the kids. They are going to a sleepover at Grandmo's! They are taking the kiddos to a new play center at the Castle and church in the morning. I get to sleep in after work for a bit!!! Yaaay :)
